I leveraged my expertise to assess and enhance the accessibility of existing websites, aligning them with legal requirements. By implementing techniques such as improving color contrast, adjusting font size, adding alternative text for images, and incorporating semantic HTML elements, I significantly improved usability for people with disabilities. Using tools like the WAVE Web Accessibility Checker, I identified issues and implemented solutions. This project reinforced my belief in the importance of accessibility and the value of designing websites to be accessible and user-friendly for all users.
